Just a side note, it makes you wonder what last season took out of the players and staff? Mane has had a poor season aswell at Bayern maybe ageing squad missing out on the league by 1 point and losing a CL final that we dominated all within a week has pushed them over the edge.

The reason this team is done is that with most of the players who've got us here, Salah, Virg, Trent, Fabinho, it's seemingly an attitude thing more than purely a form issue. 

 

The side no longer has the pride or professionalism to not want to have its pants pulled down in public, once you're in that state your only solution is major surgery.

 

As Al Pacino says in Scent of a Woman, there's nothing worse than the site of an amputated spirit, there's no prosthetic for that.
