Maybe just maybe its because we all watch all out games. And give a shit about them and analyse our games.

Added to the fact there generally is a mistake when we concede. Seeing as its often a set piece that fucks us up

You say that like you're the only one with a few others who watch all our games. Got news for you, you arent.

Who said i was

I daid we watch the games so tend to analyse what looks to be a issue

Strangely enough most complaints are we can't defend for shit and its unacceptable

Well the last 7 season tend to show that.

Not once have we conceded under 40 goals. Only twice under 45 and 3 times 50 goals or more. And this is just league games. So add that to the fact we have already conceded 11 in the first 6 games of the season is it any fucking wonder people are analysing why we cant defend?

People go on about shit defending all the time and blur the real lines between really shit defending and just conceeding goals, you know, as what happens when teams play each other.

Yes, it's not brilliant by any stretch. But it goes back to what I said, overcritical over analysis on every fucking goal we conceed.

Examples, LFC always conceed at set pieces, no we dont. We may conceed more than others at set pieces but even then, other teams conceeding arent over analysised by the sky \ BT mob.

LFC have 129 shots but only scored 6 goals. Well, I notice people dont use the old 'shots on target' description now with this latest stat about us, instead it's simply 'shots.' When did that come in? How many other teams are now analysed for purely 'shots' and goals rather than 'shots on target'?

In those last 7 seasons, we've generally played far more entertaining, expansive football and scored more goals.

Reina's stats were amazing and he was an exceptional sweeper keeper for a spell but he had nothing to do in a lot of games.  Our system had a huge part to play.  He did save us a fair few points in games though and the defence were comfortable with him.

Mignolet waiting to react incenses me, he gives the opposition a free hit in the hope he can react.

Next summer should be the time we buy the best keeper and striker we possibly can subject to sorting out the defence in Jan!

When it comes to goalkeepers, we're tempted to name good ones and say, "We could have had him..." For me, that just adds to a certain negativity as there's no end to the lament if we go down that road. We could do it with every position!

Perhaps it would be more productive to say who we could get now, who:

1. Would like to come here

2. Is clearly better than what we have already

Who are the names? And for the people who are well into their football, do they play in the sort of way we know Klopp wants his goalkeeper to play? And what sort of fee would their club demand?

The problem is, everyone is looking for that perfect keeper, the one who doesnt make mistakes. But, all keepers do. They have to contend with technically better players today not to mention a ball that now corkscrews through the air and can change direction more than once.

As Ive shown, Lloris, Courtois both established international keepers, make mistakes. Lower ranking keepers like butland, forster etc, make mistakes. They'd all get slaughtered at LFC for conceeding a goal irrespective whether it was a mistake or not.

Cant speak about de gea because I dont watch their games except twice a season when we play them.

Clubs and fans generally dont want to spend more than £10m on a keeper or at least most didnt until the fees went crackers this summer. £30m for pickford? Might turn out to be a good investment, might not, who knows?

Nobody is saying the top keepers dont make mistakes they all do. The difference is the amount of mistakes and how costly.

Mig cost us 2pts and gave City 1 away when we finished 2nd under Rogers.

He pretty much cost us the league cup final giving away that goal.

There have been too many costly mistakes over the past 3/4 yearsm

People are saying our keepers are always making 'mistakes' but dont apply the same criticisms or uber analysis of other keepers. Every goal mignolet, karius and even ward if he was a regular is subject to endless debate.

It's not really endless debate is it?  Everyone accepts that Karius messed up against Spartak and we move on.
