Mario Balotelli transfer: Liverpool will seek assurances over striker's behaviour ahead of £16m move
Aug 21, 2014 14:44 By David Maddock
The Reds are on the verge of bringing the Italian hitman back to the Premier League but want to know that the 24-year-old will behave himself

What a load of bollocks. These cunts didn't even know the deal was happening earlier now they have inside knowledge.

One of the most ridiculous aspects of the stories now coming out is that some journos are basically saying that Rodgers will sit down with Balotelli to explain to him what he expects - as well as discussing personal terms - before any transfer is finalised. I would have thought that Rodgers and his coaching staff will be more preoccupied with their preparations for the upcoming match with Man City.

Why are Milan letting him go for a relatively small fee and layaway terms?

Take your pick. It sounded from the off like Milan either wanted to sell or had to sell, and the £40m original price albeit high was actually a fishing expedition.

If you look at their ins and outs this season, it's abject reading. I think it's fairly obvious that this lot are on their knees financially, which didn't use to be the case but the CL money has fucked the nice little bubble they used to live in.

They've also bussed in freebies like Alex from PSG, Menez from PSG, Diego Lopez from Madrid, and they've spent around £6m on Adil Rami and Andrea Poli, and are promoting Hachim Mastour who is still only 15 years old.

The obvious, and sad answer, is that AC Milan are picking the raisins out of shit these days, and £16m to them means an awful lot to them.

just went on to see them all frothing at the mouth and surprisingly most are being quite nice about us

what the fuck is going on

I've found this before having looked at different forums. Surprisingly, redcafe tends to be one of the least bilefests towards us of any club forum.

It’s a bit more than money why they are getting rid of him. Both Milan and Balotelli need a fresh start. Last season he took a lot of the blame for Milans demise. When a team goes from 3rd to 8th a lot of shit flies. His two main backers Allegri and Seedorf no longer there and rumours Inzhaghi did not want him around at all. Throw in he was wrongly made an escapegoat by parts of the Italian media for their failure at the World Cup. Even a few high profile players and Prandelli threw some low shots which from the outside seemed very petty. There was very little chance he would play in Italy this season at all.
