Thought the second day sale opened today for the Fulham game for those of us with not enough credits from last year to be able to buy on the first day? All phone lines and internet lines are busy though. FFS how am I supposed to get any work done like this.

Decent runner, bags of energy on him, and from MOTD the last couple of months, a good shot too. Would he have broken into our first team?

Me and a photographer friend have just made a very short film about an old Sunday League Referee in Zaragoza. We wanted to tell a story about football the game , not football the business If you have a spare 4 minutes take a look, and if you like it, please pass it around - the more views we get, the easier it will be to get sponsorship and commissions for future projects. If you don't like it, fair enough - it is pretty wierd. cheers. No fame, no luxuries, no riches.... just football Enjoy our latest story, The Sunday Ref! Malaga created history tonight. They went 2-1 behind with only 15 minutes left to a goal that Atkinson would have been very proud of a handball into the net and a foul. With 3 minutes left they managed to equallised and with 2 minutes of injury time the Beast scored a brilliant winner to send Malaga top of La Liga for the first time in their history. Interesting that Liverpool would be in a Champions League spot if looking at the table in regards to 1st goal wins the game. (table below). We have actually lost 11 points from when we had the lead! Not so long ago if Liverpool scored the 1st goal it was almost a certainty we would go and win the game, shows that Kenny has some work to do defensively this summer and not just in attack. However, appears that with Clarke he has already made a difference with 3 consecutive clean sheets most obviously by pressing the opposition 10 yards further up the pitch.

<tr…

Bit of help/advice needed please. I'm going over to (and organising) Munich for a stag do in April and the weekend we're there Bayern are playing at home to Leverkusen. A few of us fancy trying to get down there and I was just wondering how easy it is to get tickets? Will I need to book in advance or can you just turn up on the day? I'd quite like to be sat amongst the Leverkusen fans to lay on some Sami love so might be as easy to 'away' tickets? I've had a quick scout around (can't decipher the official website) and some touting twats are selling them through 'official' websites at £70+ a pop so I don't fancy that, particularly when you hear how reasonably price…

This sounds like it will be a fascinating read. Another humble man who makes me very proud to be a red.. Found in a loft: Fagan's secret boot room diaries - News & Comment, Football - The Independent Joe Fagan who managed Liverpool for two years but was one of the club's bedro... If someone could copy and paste the article I'd be grateful; Internet Explorer at work is being a right git.

I have some friends over from Australia in November who have Anfield as a bucket list destination. It will also be my last chance to go before I move to Sydney at the end of the year. We're all members, but (predictably, as it's been the case for the last 4 years) haven't come up for any tickets in the members' sale. So I absolutely hate doing this, but given the circumstances, we're considering other options - is the only legit (if morally suspect) route to get hospitality tickets via the club? The prices seem a complete fucking racket (average ticket, a programme and a pint of what I assume will be Carlsberg, that'll be £500 please). Alternatively there seem…

It would appear that one of the writers on ProfessionalPensions.com is a Liverpool fan. It made me smile when I read the highlighted line. Always important to make sure to get in even the tiniest dig whenever possible, and nice to have a bit of smile-humour of a morning. Currently doing a great job as Academy Technical Director however he did win the Greek League & Cup double before he joined Liverpool at Olympiakios FC after the sacking of Takis Lemonis. If Kenny is seen as too political a choice could Jose Segura do a holding role for 6 months before moving back to the Academy - with a Barcelona pedigree and a reputation for bringing on young players he would probably do a better job than Woy. Thoughts?

Gary Glitter is supposedly interested in taking over at Villa after he heard that the best players were Young, Bent and potentially Keane. (Sorry if it's been posted elsewhere, but I thought it was brilliant).

Heads up for anyone buying a blu-ray player anytime soon. The Asda will have a Phillips reduced from £136 to £57 in the sales from boxing day so hang fire if you were about to spend more than that. Posted on here as I don't want to put it on a public forum; don't think they've publicly mentioned the deal yet. Happy shopping.

This whole Mascherano thing has properly pissed everyone off, and rightly so but why should it just be allowed to happen? Imagine going into work and doing fuck all, putting your feet on the desk and telling everyone your "not in the right frame of mind to work". When the boss comes in - you leave without word and disappear. What would happen to you? Mascherano is paid £75,000 a week to play football for Liverpool FC. Now correct me if im wrong - but he's not actually completing the requirements of his contract if he refuses to play - so why is he not being fined by the club? Discuss

I tried to find a thread on this, as I was sure there was one, but failed miserably... so apologies if I am duplicating anything. I remember comments being made not too long ago (around the time of Stevie's ankle 'infection' cropping up) about how our relatively new sports medicine team was rubbish... but after pausing to think about it for a while, I actually think we've done pretty well since they've come in. Obviously there are outliers such as; Stevie's groin & ankle, which seemed to be a mysterious one, and Lucas' knee, which is one of those freak accidents... However, we've been **touch wood** relatively free of those niggling injuries which have d…
