Take That number 1s were omnipresent for the entire Nineties it seemed, you couldn't go anywhere without hearing one of their songs relentlessly. Then there was a gap, then it was Rihanna. Maybe there was someone in between who made equally risible pop, but I don't remember them.

Pray was a tune

Take That split up mid nineties. It was Boyzone, Westlife, S Club 7 and the like that filled the festering wound.

Mediocre record company created bands are like cockroaches. Strike one down and several appear in their place.

Just thinking back to my school discos & some of the worst things they would put on (mid to late 80s):-

The Birdie Song

Agadoo

The Timewarp

You're the one that I want (Grease)

Summer Nights (Grease)

The Locomotion (Kylie)

Pretty much everything by Stock, Aitken & Waterman

I can remember walking out of my primary seven Christmas dance because the cunt refused to put Fools Gold on & put Band Aid on instead, horrible bastard.
