Anyone else still getting up sickeningly early and 15 times throughout the night with their "bundles of joy"

When in fucks name do little humans sleep properly??

We left them to it after the first couple of months and let them cry, they soon get the message that we’ll only come when needed and stopped.

They have both slept twelve hours a night since without any fuss.

Feel sorry for you. Genuinely don’t know how people get through it. My youngest is 4 now but was an absolute horror for being up through the night.

He’s still a horror in a different way. He’s currently having to isolate for the 3rd time since September because of a case of covid somewhere in his school. It’s great having to try to work as he smashes the place up. Really good times.

A mate of mine is all pleased because he’s got twins due in a couple of months. I can’t be happy for him, he’s fucked.

Our second Son was a nightmare for nine months, we changed his routine a few times before we found one that worked & he's been ok since then (touch wood).

Make sure the routine starts from before tea time & goes right through to bed time & if it works, stick to it.

Might not help but I hope it does because where you are at the moment is fucking purgatory. I would've put him up for adoption a few times if it had been up to me.

The worst thing is, for the first 6 months she was a dream. Our eldest, who's now 5 was crap from day 1 until about 18-22 months.

But she's now been terrible for a full year now, no matter what we do she howls from 3am, you settle her, 4 then between 5-30 it's wakey wakey time.

Although the young lad was crap from the start, at the same as the niamh, he was getting better, she's getting worse.

No word of a lie, on Friday night I was awake every 45 fucking minutes. It was like hell well for an SAS recruit.
