We were talking about this on Saturday before the game. He wanted 180k here, the club offered a basic 140k plus bonuses. He would still be playing regular here in a winning side.

 

His original plan was Barcelona but once red ronnie's got the heave ho, you'd think he'd revisit his plans. For whatever reason he didnt. I dont really get what he was on about not feeling the loce from the club. What love do you need other than from Jurgen, teammates and fans in the stadium?

It was just an excuse because he wanted more money. He made his bed and now he's lying in it,covered in money. He's a financial winner but the club hasn't missed him.

He'd be a great buy for Villa, the professionalism and winning mentality would rub off on the rest of their players. Him and Coutinho would be a real threat if Gerrard can keep hold of the latter, decent little side he's building there.

The stats don't back this up in the slightest, I'm afraid.

 

Possession (63% on average) and accurate passes (85%) is at the same rate as it has been for the last 3 seasons.

 

I'm fact, our passing accuracy in the opposition half has gone up by 3% since we won the league.

 

We've lost nothing from Gini other than regular availability.

It's funny to think how when we were really good, everyone thought Gini, Milner and Henderson were rubbish. 

 

Imagine that midfield out running and out muscling the current version. We would lose 4 nil

Wasn't too arsed about him going, he regularly went missing but he did have certain attributes that suited our style of play, I wanted the better version of gini. The fact we didn't replace/upgrade after he left is criminal.
