I think you'll find piss is safe to drink when in a dessert, you piss into one bag and attach it to another by a tube.

The empty bag you bury in sand, the bag of piss you leave in the full heat of the sun with the tube arcing upwards.

The sun heats the piss causing condensation to run through the tube, giving you perfectly clean drinking water in the bag under the sand.

I was out of work, drinking, watching day time telly for far too fucking long!

Just how the fuck are you going to have two bags in the desert and a tube?

 

Far easier to bring sime water bottles instead.
