Got some real Hodgospeak going on in this thread, lowering expectations and talking up Villla. Fuck them, they may have had a good start, etc., etc., etc. but they're playing us at Anfield. Anything less than a win would be a massive setback.

3-0, Balotelli on the scoresheet.

From the training pics up on the offal, there have been a few youngsters up training with the first team ahead of a busy fortnight.

Cameron Brannagan, Lloyd Jones, Connor Randall, Jerome Sinclair & Kevin Stewart.

Thank fuck for Kevin Stewart, that's what I say.  The only youngster there without a hairdresser name.

I think it's common practice for the youngsters to train with the first team during international breaks so as to get the numbers up for training sessions.

That said, I've got a lot of time for Cameron Brannagan, he's a lovely midfield ball-carrier. Bit surprised that Jordan Lussey wasn't called though.

Yes, it is common practice. The pics on the offal yesterday were taken from a full training session, with all players returned from international duty, which makes me think that we may see a few of the youngsters mentioned, in the squad for the League Cup game against Middlesbrough

Didn't Wellbeck have a similar goal scoring return as Sturridge before he came here? Spent most of his time at United out on the wing too and he's a year younger. I'm sure Wenger could help sort out his game.

At least I thought he was going to, then he came out and said some shite about he'd only have signed him on loan? Great way to big up your new signing.

ediT  - Wrong thread.

On topic - I forgot we still had Lucas..
