Nokia Lumia Side Buttons Unresponsive

So, my phone is working, I put it in my pocket, I take it out and then the volume down, the power and the camera buttons are just not working. The only way I can activate the screen is to plug the phone in, or when someone phones or texts me.

 

As the soft reset requires functioning buttons, I couldn't do that. I have tried a hard reset and that didn't fix it. 

 

I presumed the buttons must be dodgy, so I got them changed, but they are still unresponsive. I can only presume it's a software/firmware error. Is there a way I can revert back to Windows 8 from Windows 8.1, or can anyone think of anything else?

At the moment, it's basically bricked!

Have you previously changed the sceen or anything?? If so was it Official??

Lumia has issues with things that are not official in the latest updates.

I've never changed anything, it is an eBay purchase though.

If it has a unoficial part and you performed a update and it went past Amber then that wouldnt allow anything non official to work.

I don't think it has anything unofficial. I'm going to send it back Nokia

Though you got it off eBay
