Southampton Vs Liverpool

Started the game very well, after our goal tho, it's like we've invited them.

I think Sterling will come on for Coutinho or Allen at half time. Football psychology is strange, for as long as it was 0-0 we looked by far the better side, since we scored it's like we are waiting for them to score. We need to sourt oursleves out at half time.

Just pressing like headless chickens and getting pulled out of position all over the place. Flanagan and Henderson in particular have just been over eager at times and left us exposed. Coutinho is half asleep too.

We just need to get our heads right, sort our shape out a bit and we'll be alright. If we don't do that though Southampton will get at least 1.

How bad was that? Surrendering 75% of the pitch and hoping for a counter is exactly the shite we did in the opening games, where we were run off the pitch in the second half and held on for narrow wins.

Let's play attacking football. And get Gerrard and COutinho off. Gerrard is up to his jogging speed today and Coutinho can't hold to the ball for a second.

Guest Numero Veinticinco

We also have Gerrard, Allen and Henderson not defending when we don't have the ball.

Spot on.Need a kick in the arse.

coutinho still showed glimpses of why he's on.

he can unlock them with a pass if we can get the ball to him in the right position.

however, counter attack seems like our best weapon and sterling would give us more of that.

We seem to have got this game plan of score early, then sit back and let them come on so we can attack on the counter. When it works it's fucking incredible, that's basically how we arseraped the Bitters in that first half, but its not going to work if we can't pick a damn pass. Every forward ball is either going into touch or straight into a Saints player and when it comes back they walk right through us.

Something's got to change. There's been space going forward if we can exploit it.
