Well, Lukaku is gone for certain, so I think that's pretty much a lock.

 

Not to mention Stones is very likely to leave.  So as usual for Everton it will be two steps forward (they'll probably buy someone decent but not great like Milik or Slimani, and then put 10m towards replacing Stones) but then 4 massive steps back when those two leave.  

 

Lukaku in particular is going to be very tough to replace.  We saw when trying to replace Suarez how tough it can be to replace a top striker, even if you have money you're willing to spend.  And we were in the CL and had just finished 2nd at the time, imagine trying to do it at Everton!

Reading in the Echo the other day about them building more facilities on Finch Farm, a mini stadium for the reserves. Very nice considering they are leasing the land at a nice rate given to them by an Everton supporting leader of the Council. Obviously completely legit and above board.

 

They do make me laugh regarding the Echo too. They get tonnes of free advertising despite us being primarily the reason for the Echo popularity abroad. We get president for stories because it sells papers and advertising. They just get plenty of goodwill and free publicity. You will be getting a season ticket with an Echo subscription soon.
