to let him go is a mistake we lack abit of height and muscle upfront

but one thing im pissed off of reading he is over paid and over priced!! was it him that demanded 35m? was it him that offered himself 80k a week? was it fuck!! if the club are stupid enough to pay that price and offer that much on wages then its not his back people should be on but then i suppose those that slate him over his wage would of course turn that sort of money per week if its offered to them.....wouldnt they? i personally think he has been treated poorly by the club but hey ho each to there own

Cunning move adding the j to the end of your username, no one will know.

What's that got to do with anything and besides, Babel didn't cost 35m.

We sold Torres and Babel and replaced them with Suarez and Carroll and got more quality in, if Suarez had cost £35M and Carroll £25M we would have spent the same amount of money, thats the point.

Carroll was embarrassingly shite for us in the beginning but he picked himeself up, got fit and have stayed fit and been West Hams best player this season.

We could have had a lot of use for him and maybe we could have got more than 1 win in our 14 games against the top 8 as well, I think its very likely.

good news if it is £15m cos thats the max he's ever been worth

theres actually been times were we've needed him for the last 20 minutes of games to try breaking teams down but thats the point really. You cant have a £15m sub on 80 G's a week sitting around when you could have a more skillful/mobile target man type of player who doesn't soley rely on crosses to score goals.

i think he'll do well for fat kecks if he stays off the treatment table and newcy brown and I hope does well.

He's pulled out of England squad due to "heel injury'........he's either on his way to london or got somebody to fuck his achillies up so he doesn't have to take a wage cut for next 3 years hahahaha

He didn't score until November, and then promptly missed two months with an injury.

He scored a grand total of seven league goals in twenty four games - Sturridge has scored more since January.

West Ham's best player? If you say so, and even if you're right, whoop de do!

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll reportedly discovered last night that he will face the next four months out of action through injury.

The 24-year-old, who was forced on Tuesday to withdraw from the England squad, has struggled with various problems this season while on loan at Upton Park.

Despite his limited appearances, the Hammers are keen on landing Carroll in a permanent deal and have reportedly settled on an initial fee of £12m with parent club Liverpool.

However, the former Newcastle United frontman was told on Tuesday night that he will spend the next four months on the sidelines with injury, according to The Mirror.

It is unknown at this stage as to whether his lengthy absence will affect any proposed deal between the Hammers and the Reds.

Fuck! He probably injured himself on the dancefloor making his special dance move that he always finishes with a split. Stupid cunt, he could have at least waited until we had got rid of him...

You do know that some bright cunt at our club let them put a sell on clause when we bought him so more money gone on him

Yes. Im not sure though whether the sell on clause kicks in on any sale or over a certain valuation.

Today's media points out that there is a clause in Carroll's LFC contract which means Newcastle get 25% of any future transfer price. Therefore they could technically match West Ham's offer by paying just £11.25M to Liverpool.

Comolli you stupid twat, as if putting a 1 million pound buy out clause in Kuyt's contract wasn't bad enough, he's put a 25% sell on clause in Carroll's contract after paying 35 million pound cash on transfer deadline day, complete and utter incompetence.
