I want to believe, I really do. I just think we have virtually no margin for error as I expect the Mancs to go on a roll from now until the end of the season. I'm not worried about Chelsea.

 

My belief has taken a real battering these past few weeks and it'll take a good few wins on the bounce to get it back. If we win the next four, culminating in the derby, then I might start to feel excited again.

A result better off than we are now. Meh, get Torres back now and finall get going.

 

From this point last season, out of the remaining fixtures the mancs got 45 points (14 wins 3 draws 3 defeats), we managed 43 (12 wins, 7 draws 2 defeats).

 

I just hope we can cut out the number of draws and we've got a cracking shot at this league.

Filth didnt have to go to Japan last season. Filth have their eye on a second consecutive CL this season.

 

Last season isnt this season so I dont know why people are arsed what they did last season.

People are making far too much of them going to Japan. Our form didn't suffer particularly when we came back from Japan in 2005/6. We started to look a bit knackered in February and March, but our season had started the previous July, plus our squad wasn't as strong as theirs is now so we couldn't rest players as much. I don't think it will affect them at all. As for them not being able to go for the title while concentrating on the CL, last season pretty much blows that theory apart.

 

If we're still in the race when we go to their place and we get a result, I'll start to believe then.
