Xabi D occupies a space in a parallel universe. In that universe Messi is playing for the Argies and Xabi D is not a gigantic dribblechin.

Edit: heh. I'm the dribblechin it seems.

As much of a dribbliechin as xabi d is, Messi, Javier and Riquelme are all playing for Argentina right now.

Blatter added that he had made a direct appeal to the clubs involved to allow the three players at the heart of the dispute - Barca's Argentinian playmaker Lionel Messi, Schalke's Brazilian defender Rafinha, and Werder Bremen's Brazil midfielder Diego - to compete.

all have played today...kind of makes me wonder what the point of the appeal was.

Screech from Saved by the Bell was playing for Belgium, he was sent off. His name is Marouane Fellaini.

I just googled him and it turns out Everton bid for him in May but it was turned down. The pics on google don't show the screechness to full effect as his hair is short on the photo's.

You can see him here: BBC SPORT | Olympics | Football | Brazil get off to winning start
