Haha. You got your arse in a twist at a totally innocuous post by capered and threw a minging “do keep up” on the end, then proceeded to get yourself more and more riled up at the responses.

Great posts. Although you've missed the vital detail that the Aussie government are investing $200m in women's footie following the success of this tournament. Do keep up.

Oh excellent.

Perhaps the Feds will pay for it via taxpayer money collected by their State govt crony colleagues in Victoria, where we'll be picking up $380m lost when we pulled out of the Commonwealth Games the other day.

Thanks for the lecture though.  Remind me to do an economy critique on Britain from my couch in Melbourne, maybe on Tuesday.

We'll see then won't we.

And don't take that take that tone with me you rude cunt.

Really?

Argumentum ad hominem your forte, is it?

Pot. Kettle. Black. Redder.

I wouldn't trust the British nor Australian Governments as far as I could kick them.

And I'm not sure whether you're trying to draw a facile distinction between "Left" and "Right" - or Britain and Australia... because, frankly, you're abuse and nastiness is totally masking any sense you might be trying to make.

Spain making England look like the kick and rush team they are. It also helps Spain that England ball watch too much to press effectively. That said, Spain are vulnerable to a long ball out of defence so England should get some joy out of doing it.

Kick and rush? No chance.  They're certainly more direct than Spain but kick and rush is not a fair description.

They can pass it about when they're given the time and space to do so, but they shit themselves when pressed and look to hit the channels. Football wise, Spain giving them a lesson, but admittedly, England are more effective when direct.

There we go - Bronze loses the ball, running into a crowd because she had no options - Spain win the ball, play it to where she was, goal.

Don't discuss actual football during this celebration of redress, if you please.
