Yes it was. He only scored two in the League as well.

Yea, Riise too as well but both scored in Europe beforehand. Thought Babbel’s first was in the Gary Mac derby but he scored a few others that season.

We hardly ever seem to have a fully fit squad. Curtis won't play in the league till November,Jota will miss a game and the pricks are talking about Mac Callister suspension for comments about playing 12 men.

This fella’s knack of being in the right place for tap-ins is unreal. 
 

He hasn’t been brilliant this season but still scoring when he gets picked.

I think I've said this before but I can't every remember us having such a strong varied set of attackers. 

 

All five of the forwards offer something completely different in terms of their skillset and what they can bring to the team.

What I like is all of them are contributing. Salah is Salah. Nunez now scored in his last 3 games. Jota has been scoring. It’s looking very promising.

Plus there isn't a drop off in quality when any of the front players are missing. Well except Salah, perhaps. Fingers crossed they all gel.

I'll be honest; until he scored I didnt know he was on the pitch. 

 

After he scored the only reason I knew he was still on the pitch was because he hadnt been subbed yet. 

 

I'm not taking to him at present but I hope that changes.

I think he's been pretty sluggish since his injury, and despite getting shouted down last time I said this, I think he needs to make decisions quicker on the ball. I like him though, and agree that the 5 guys give us a really good unit to mix and match from.

Considering the conditions, he had a good game. He put himself about, won balls in the air and some tackles. No one was going to look slick technically out there.
