Be keen to see what happens with Bajcetic now. Jurgen and Pep have had a really good luck at him in DM this pre-season.

Clearly they know what Hendo and Milly already offer there but you cannot help but feel that there is an opportunity there

If Morton eventually moves on to Blackburn on loan and Phillips makes his anticipated move then he assumes the Morton/Rhys Williams role in the side.

I don't understand the logic of giving Nunez the majority of his minutes with a mixed/second team this pre-season.

We know what Firmino can do, he has a deep understanding of how the first team operates and how it plays, playing him with the second team for fitness makes the most sense.

It's because Firmino is clearly starting the season in the first 11 so it would make no sense to have him play with a b team.

Yeah that's true, having only been here 6-7 years we need to get him up to speed with the system as well as his fitness.

No, what's definitely true is that you should play your striker you plan to start the season with, with backups during the pre season,  and only play him with the starting 11 on the first game that matters.

We're talking all bar one pre-season game so far this season, this isn't the first team tune up before the season begins (which you presume will be the Charity Shield).

Having seen the highlights of Nunez from the first half struggling to see what the fuss is about. Loads of examples of him causing problems, hitting the bar and putting himself in positioning to score goals.

Could easily have scored a couple. Loads of intelligent running.

It's just a case of trying to hard and not relaxing.
