Italian sides are terrified of our blistering attacking pace.

They cannot match us physically or in terms of pace / tempo / pressing. They would love to drag us into a slow - slow - quick - slow chess match and try to cynically weasel their way to a win.

Fuck that, show them zero respect, just go out there and fucking batter them. Like City did last night and exactly like we've done to countless foreign teams over the last 5 years.

Agree with this. Rather hoping for them to play an expansive game (especially if their quickest CB is out). They are obviously no mugs, but we're as bad a matchup for them as they could get.

I'd go with the same team that started against Burnley, but bench Hendo.

Here’s that YNWA from 2008. One of the comments describes it as being sung like a defiant hymn that day as the club was being dragged through the mud to the brink of extinction which sums it up nicely.  I remember how good it felt to just keep singing it and everyone else must have felt the same. I was sat under the scoreboard in the corner.

Everyone felt the same - except the twats next to the person filming it who kept talking! The end is brilliant.

Personally, Im not convinced by Konate yet. He seems to have a gaffe about him and would much rather Joe partnered Virgil if Joel is rested. But it looks like Joe's going to be forced out and sold in the summer.

Big game to bring Joe Gomez back for given he's played about 20 minutes this year, rather see him against Norwich.

Gomez has barely played football this season and has been terrible when he has. You couldn't put him in such a game.

I'd have preferred Joel starting myself.
