I'm going over to Turkey at the end of September. Tried to get a refund a few weeks ago but they were having none of it. If we make it unharmed we're just gonna stay on the resort.

 

I had similar a few years ago after we booked to go to Egypt for xmas before the arab spring/uprising.  Hotel were fine but KML wouldn't give us a bean back because the home office warnings were not red.  Car bombs, mass on street sexual assaults were fine because their plane was flying to Cairo.

 

Had a pregnant missus at the time so ended up having to take the hit.

Aye, it is a bit worrying like. My bird text me earlier to say that she's contacting them by email to see if there's any chance of us switching destinations.

I was going to make some crass comment about Farage having to adjust his numbers but this is fucking dreadful.

Utter scum doing this shit and we are running away from our friends and neighours instead of standing shoulder by shoulder
