Public Enemy? :o Fucking hell bit of a bizarre choice but should be interesting. Yeaaaaah boiii.

New song has made me worried that these Manchester gigs are going to be shite. The definition of phoned in shite

Fwiw I must be one of the few people who overall liked Second Coming better than their first album, so this is the first thing they've done which I'd label really poor.

It's a brave choice. Public Enemy are a far better live band. They put on a great show. All we got last time the Roses played Amsterdam was a DJ.

Public Enemy must be good then.  I saw the Roses at Wembley the night the Manics made their comeback as a 3 piece without Richey, and I thought they were excellent.  Brown's voice might not be the best live, but the overall band performance made up for that.  John Squire was absolutely superb on guitar, I saw him again a few years later playing lead guitar on Champagne Supernova for Oasis at Knebworth.  By fuck could he play that guitar.

Last time I saw Public Enemy they were offering full refunds if anybody wasn't fully satisfied. The drummer didn't fuck off in a huff either.

  • 2 weeks later...

Where's that from Mook?

It's from a YouTube page apparently, I just nicked it off a Roses forum. I think it appeared & then disappeared earlier today.

Looking like the new song is released tomorrow (10th).

Ive sold my tickets to the Ethiad due to All For One being so shite.

From looking at the set list of the Halifax gig, it just looks like a retread of a couple of years ago and if they are going to drop something genuinely class for All For One, then I'm not interested.
