Watching a recording of the game just now confirms my belief that the narrative being peddled that Taylor 'let a lot go' for both sides is utter bullshit. The only blatant foul I could see committed by us in the whole game was a clear shove by Milner on Silva ... in the 65th minute.... and other than Jota leaving a bit on Akanji, nothing of note thereafter. He let City get away with loads, and how Bernard the Rat didn't get a booking is only something  Taylor can answer. Apart from the rugby tc]ackle on Mo, he also left his studs high on Jota just before half time - but of course, we don't tend to make much of stuff like that, unlike plenty of others. There was also that shithouse shoulder into THiago's face (Rodri) and how it took 78 minutes for Akanji to get booked, jeez.

The Thiago tackle on Rodri was a solid yellow as well.

An underrated moment yesterday was Thiago flying into Rodri and pretending to slip. I'm almost certain that was deliberate - Rodri had smashed his shoulder into Thiago's face earlier in the game, again deliberately IMO, and it looked to me like Thiago was getting him back.

It looked like a genuine slip on the telly replays to be honest.

The only free kick Taylors awarded Salah in 4 games against City….

Wouldn't be surprised to see similar stats for Taylor on Mane, he absolutely hates the both of them (it seems). Whether it's because of the team they play in, them being "foreigners" or  their religion I'm not sure, but the bias is so obvious that something is definitely off.

When Mo rolls Cancelo and Guardiola drops to his knees looking for divine intervention, is an absolutely beautiful moment.

Noticed that rewatching motd earlier this evening. Rewound and watched a few times.
