Trent in midfield against some farmers really hits home...that he's much better where he is for us in his new role. He's freed up unmarked to do the stuff he's best at and us on the ball constantly. In a 3 he has a direct opponent to best and sees less of it

England might as well play him there though as Gareth isn't going to play him right back and he's England's best player

I'm gutted he isn't going, I had a whole reworking of Captain Pugwash in my head as Captain Sportswash, and Blood Stains instead of Seaman Stains!

That's the whole franchise up the swanee, thanks Stevie ya big fucking letdown.

I had a load of stuff planned for when he was going to Chelsea and he let me down too. I feel your pain.

Trent was literally walking around for most of the game, and he wasn’t the only one. I’m not an avid North Macedonia fan so I couldn’t explain how they beat Italy in Italy and looked so bad tonight, but they were more National League standard than Nations League.

I want Trent to play that position for us and have said so for months, but you can’t judge how he’d do there in the Premier League based off that game tonight. It was a complete mismatch.

It's almost as if that one game against Italy isn't truly reflective of them as a team.

While that's true they've also won away at Germany in the past couple of years and won 5-0 away at Armenia who smashed Wales last week. They aren't a top side but they're also not one of the worst.

They beat Malta 2-1 and lost at home to Ukraine. They're not quite San Marino but they are, like 80% of teams in Europe, fucking rubbish.

International football is dreadful, but European International football is the absolute worst. 50 teams or whatever it is and most of them would get battered by a half decent Championship team.
