The thing with 2001 is that, at it's best, it's incredible. But there are chunks of it that just don't quite hit right for me. As a technical achievement it's pretty amazing. 

 

Have never seen it in a cinema and feel like it would be a much better experience there.

I used to rave about 2001. Nowadays I find the pacing too slow and struggle to watch it all the way through. That said, the "Daisy, daisy" bit always gets me. 

 

While the rest are great films that I'll happily watch anytime, Once upon a Time in the West is utterly brilliant to my mind.
