It depends. Some of the strongest players in the current game (yes Vidal I’m looking at you) went unpicked after 6 rounds. I managed to get Ramos, probs 2nd best defender, on pick 18 or something. Depends how many concessions you’re prepared to make on age & how flexible you’ll need to be on transfers for season 2 & 3.

There was quite a few players, Vidal included, that I didn't pick because they're about 4 million years old. If FM21 is the same as all the previous iterations I've played, then players drop off a cliff ability-wise once they hit 32 years old.

I was going to do one of those again. Then I thought better of it. What's the point when Bruce fixes it so your in game version of you doesn't do what you had recruited for. 

 

Or in my case it might be because I put very little thought into it after my very first pick. 

 

This is highly demonstrated by the fact that I thought we had finished with all positions only to realise that I've still got to pick two defenders.

Trial runs done, still need to put in last of the players and change the manager stuff you've asked for, but apart from that I'm pretty much done from my end.

 

Looks a little different at the top...

 

Europe looks like it's working, I can pretty guarentee that we all qualify, with some of us picking up random league wins in other European countries.

If you get them to me before tomorrow morning I’m fine with that.

 

Only send over what you want to change though as wading through everything looking for differences takes more time.

 

We can't do anything until the defenders are done anyway.

So, what I have to do to get us all in Europe is to duplicate our teams and then transpose the data on top of other teams, you are still you with all your players and stats, just renamed, but I have to set them to 'unplayable' leagues so they do not interact with us and corrupt files; think of it like a spreadsheet and if one line of code is wrong nothing works.

 

For example my ghost team has been transposed on top of RB Leipzig, but it's not them its me and my stats and player stats which are then masked to stop file corruption.

 

All of your teams and alternative leagues are listed below so you know which leagues you might be winning.

 

Team name with a 1 next to it is a ghost team.
