Not often you'll hear me say it but Steve Bruce deserves some credit for the job he's doing with Newcastle. 

 

Don't think he has much imput on transfers and the fans haven't been on board and he has a pretty shit squad but has Newcastle in 12th, 2pts off Arsenal, 4pts off Spurs and 8pts off the mancs in 5th, 10 off Chelsea in 4th.

Such a shame he didn’t have them on course to go down. Now they’ll get their Saudi government takeover which effectively guarantees multiple fake title wins over the next decade and hoards of people swooning over the romance and how they’ve earned their success by “doing it the right way”.

I've been telling all the Mancs I know for years that Bruce should have replaced Ferguson, or any of the others since. He was more suited and would have done a better job than any of them.
