Someone's having a real laugh - shitcoat to Utd.

Recommended Posts

If shitcoat goes they'll want a title with the next manager, not in 3 seasons or more. They've had the opportunity to invest in their squad and rebuild previously but they've just gone out and blown it on 3-4 players. I doubt they'd give Poch the time needed plus being in the hot seat probably isn't something that would work with Poch's approach (nobody really cares about Spurs).

The whole, "WE'RE MANCHESTER UNITED" mentality is putting them in an arms race with City which isn't a winnable race. They probably could have done with someone like Klopp/Poch instead of Moyes for the sole purpose of rebuilding after whiskey nose.

He's less of a wanker, than Mourinho, sure, but do you really see him as playing a lot differently with those players? I think Poch going there midseason would be hilarious, because it'd be much more of the same, and he'd be under serious pressure to deliver immediately after the first summer. They weren't exactly brilliant the first 18 months under Poch, but he's had a relatively untouched squad since then... Minor tweaks, and he's on his 4th season there.

If he benches his huge money signings at all, at United, then he'll be fucked in the media/fans, unless he jettisons them.

There’s no way they sack Mourinho mid season and go for their first choice. If they’re out of the title race and out of the CL places and it looks highly likely they’ll miss out they’ll get Giggs/Neville/some other Class of 92 tit to be caretaker till the end of the season.

I think if Poch goes there they’d instantly improve. Shaw looks to be shot to shit but is England’s most talented Left Back by miles and the guy who got the best out of him would be taking over. They’d still have De Gea. Rashford and Martial would be brilliant for him or Klopp for that matter, Bailey is an athletic defender who gives them the option to push high up the pitch like a Poch team is renowned for, Pogba would be given more freedom to use him physicality and technique closer to the opposing goal, he’d probably get a tune out of Micky and would probably sell Lukaku and buy Kane at the first opportunity. They’d be a real force with him in charge.

De Gea/Lloris

Valencia/Aurier

Bailey/Alderweireld

Jones/Vertonghen

Shaw/Rose

Matic/Dier

Pogba/Dembele

Martial/Son

Mata/Eriksen

Rashford/Dele

Lukaku/Kane

Not saying they are their best line-ups that’s the players who play quite a bit and are comparable to each other, there’s not many Tottenham players I’d pick over the Utd ones there so I’m guessing Poch could work wonders with similar types of players who are better than what he has already at Tottenham. All that does show really is how Mourinho is massively under performing and how shit he is at the current time. Carra was right, Guardiola would be winning the league with the exact players he has at Utd now.

Struggling to think where he'll go after this. Teams that dominate their league - like PSG and Bayern - want attacking football. He pissed and moaned about his time in Italy, despite being more in line with the pragmatism of the league, so might not want to go back.

International football might be his last retreat, but now Portugal have won something and Ronaldo'll be entering his twilight years that's not going to bring any glory. The England job has been a long time coming for him, and it's probably tailor made for his skillset as nobody will complain with his standard of dull football given what England fans have been served up in recent history. His style's positively expansive compared to England teams.

Australia are in the market for a new manager. Thank fuck he's out of our price range.

Not sure he’s utilising Pogba properly. For Juve, he looked brilliant playing on the left of a midfield three or diamond. He’s now playing as one of the two holding midfielders in a 4-2-3-1. It’s a waste playing him there IMO. He’s an athletic, all-action player.. powerful, fast, has an eye for a pass, though not quite metronomic. Mourinho is playing him like an Alonso or Scholes, were he should be unleashed like a Gerrard.

have to admit i was expecting far more from him.

Though he looked immense at times for Juve though playing with Pirlo and Vidal doesn't half help. I think playing him as the top of a midfield 3 and getting pace out wide and ahead would get far more out of him.

He literally played box-to-box for them. He was given the license to roam about the pitch, whilst Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio took control of the midfield. Now at United he’s being asked to control the midfield, something that he never really had to do before.

There is no United way just Ferguson's way. I keep hearing United fans say it's not the United way, fuck you.. your way is whatever evil cunt who thinks it's okay to manage such a twat of a club decides is your way.

The moral high ground I've been hearing from United and city fans over the VVD fee has been unreal. Self awareness! Yeah but he's a defender.. Yeah well you bought Rio for the same price we bought salah for..15 years ago, the United way has always been buy big its just recently they have been buying shite for big money and now there's more teams with the means to compete financially. As for city they should look away sheepishly and shut the fuck up whenever money is mentioned like a sted head who claims he's naturally 250lbs solid muscle with 5 percent body fat at the age of 43. The world knows so fuck off.

Don Hutchinson laying into Mourinho on Goals on Sunday. Reckons Jose goes to sleep and wakes up thinking about Pep.

Layed into his tactics and use of the attacking talent he has as well.

He also says VVD will be a good signing for us. Good lad

Yep, to be fair on Sunday supplement they were all quite positive too about the VVD signing saying if he gets us where we want to be it’s worth the money. Also a nice segment about Brewster and the racism he’s faced. Said how articulate he is and that we’d handled it well. (Although concluding would fifa actually do anything )
