Smeeth resigned from the Labour front bench to vote against the second referendum. I wonder how Stoke people's lives are going to improve outside the EU with the Tories in charge. This follows 250 odd voting for keeping no deal yesterday. There's not one politician worth the steam off a gnats piss in the Commons. It's embarrassing the mental gymnastics coming out of Parliament at the minute.

So they've now voted to ask for an extension but don't want May's Deal, are against no deal, don't want another referendum and didn't want Parliament to take control of the process.

So what do these fuckers want?? I now genuinely hope that the EU tells us to fuck off and stick to the 29th of March.

Do you? Do you genuinely hope that?

Looks like she may not get the numbers after all if this was her last, best gambit.

May’s hopes of winning over Eurosceptics and the DUP to back her deal have been dealt a fresh blow after the “Star Chamber” of Brexiteer lawyers rejected a further attempt to allay their concerns about the backstop.

The group of lawyers, led by veteran Tory Sir Bill Cash, said the suggestion that the UK could use the Vienna Convention - the international treaty that lays down the rules about treaties - to unilaterally pull out of the backstop was “badly misconceived”.

The panel of lawyers, which significantly also includes DUP deputy leader Nigel Dodds, rejected supplementary legal advice from Attorney General Geoffrey Cox.

The Attorney General’s advice hinges on Article 62 of the Vienna Convention, which says that if there has been “a fundamental change of circumstances” following the conclusion of a treaty “which was not foreseen by the parties”, then the countries involved would be allowed to withdraw from it.

But the Brexit-backing lawyers said “given the high burden that a state must meet to use it, and given the extreme reluctance of international courts and tribunals to accept it” the Vienna Convention route “supplies no assurance whatsoever that the UK could terminate the Withdrawal Agreement in a lawful manner”.

This fucking cunt getting a dose of Brexit reality. Couldn't happen to nice fella.

Profits at UK pub chain JD Wetherspoon fell 19% in the six months to the end of January.

It blamed a rise in labour costs, interest payments, utility bills, repairs and depreciation for the fall.

Its chairman, Brexit supporter Tim Martin, who generally accompanies results announcements with his colourful opinions, expressed concern that Brexit would be reversed.

This, he said, would have "adverse economic consequences".

Listening to an Austrian Minister talking about the extension short or long etc. Very civil, restrained and cooperative, got me thinking.

Imagine this was the Germans or French carrying on like we have. The Mail would want us to invade or at least bin them off without any compromise. Dirty foreign bastards.
