Just stop it, it's embarrassing.

The Bilbao players were a disgrace last week, every single one of them blubbing away.

I was watching the City match with a Canadian girl today and she was laughing at us Brits crying our eyes out in the stands cos some footballer scored a goal.

It's pathetic.

I don't think a Canadian bird should be lecturing Europeans about how to support their football teams.

Main difference being the C as in 'Club' and not F as in 'Franchise'.

And yes, I've cried at football a couple of times, but only after wins. And good on the Bilbao players for showing how much they care.

Fuck off OP. Bilbao players crying last week is perfectly understandable. First European final for 35 years (I think) for a team who draw their players from soley Basque regions and they lose miserably to a team from Madrid (albeit not Real) after all the amazing football they have played this year I think a few tears are justified. I imagine they were crying for the fans more than anything.

Now the City fan crying last week is different...although he claims he won them the league.

Crying is for girls. It's a sign of weakness to let your emotions show. Even at school when I got my arse whacked with a size 12 plimsoll I refused to cry, those that did fell greatly in my estimation. I didn't cry when my children were born either, a handshake and a hearty 'well done love' were sufficient to express my joy.

I had tears in my eyes in 2005, wasn't aware they were there at first though. Just a massive emotional outpour I suppose. I didn't sob like some fucking woman though. It's a very Ingurlund thing to do isn't it, sob when your team gets knocked out of a competition? Just like big brave john terry does.
