Think Endo had lift off tonight. Jones excellent as the right full back/quarter back, Elliott outstanding apart from the final product, signs from Gravenberch. Industry and a goal if not the all round performances from Gakpo and Jota. Nunez just makes us so threatening when he's playing, opens up the whole pitch and his link play improving all the time. Centre backs very good as well, early days but we may have one with quansah

Quansah was very good again, nice assist, also played a lovely ball earlier. Doesn't look out of place.

Finally see what Endo is about. If he plays like that, he'll be a good signing.

Thought Doak was excellent too. Yes he sometimes makes wrong decisions but he also makes a lot of right decisions. He played a couple of nice balls in the box that could have led to goals. Was unlucky with the shot that hit the bar.

Yer man Szoboszlai is alright at the aul soccer ball thing.

Yes. I don't agree with the Gerrard comparisons that some are making. It's Souey he reminds me of.  He gets the ball or wins the ball and then gets things moving, but he also has a real swagger. It's SO Souey it's a bit weird.
