Passing has been woeful. We're second to any loose ball and while their keeper has made 2 competent saves, we've not been clinical with the chances we have had.

 

Jurgen needs to take young Curtis off and replace him with one of the options off the bench. Sadio is strolling around, losing the ball too often and almost tackled himself in the last few minutes of that half!

Not a very good half that, but improved the last 20 minutes.

 

Bobby our best player imo, which I’m sure not many agree with. His off the ball movement has been absolutely excellent, and the main reason we have created a few chances.

 

Fabinho and Robertson also good as always. Sadio on and off.

 

Disappointed by Salah, Henderson and Trent so far. Trent looks la bit like he thinks he doesnt have to put in too much effort any more, need him to get back to his best.

 

Nat Phillips is an accident not waiting to happen, seem to happen on a regular basis, so would guess we need a couple of goals to win this.

Pass pass pass, Philips has it, he gets pressed quickly and we go round again. Midfield is offering us fuck all and our formation and tactics seem to be negated rather easily last 2 games. Teams have had 3 years to work out how to play against us and stop us at the same time.

Hardly surprising when we run him into the ground along with the other 12 realible players we had the last few years. 

 

It's really no surprise its caught up with them.

Better last 10 minutes, had 2 really good chances and can't believe Mo didn't score. 

I think Bobbys touch has been poor, hopefully improve. 

TAA, not sure if his usual style just seems half arsed to me, maybe he is always like that and don't notice when all going well, but his passing/crossing has been poor again.

Firmino is the most energetic player on the pitch and everything is going through him.  Absolute madness to consider subbing him.  Jones looks completely lost tonight though.  Would be nice to see Thiago.

I think Bobby’s done well too, certainly better than Mo and Sadio
