Er, what?! That's the type of performance that saw united and chelsea grind out numerous titles. Not always pretty, sometimes under the cosh the whole game but coming away with 3 points.

Not in the sense of the result, I'm happy about that. More in the sense that it wasn't an assured performance. Might be bias I suppose, but even when they were grinding out those titles, Utd and Chelsea never seemed to look as shakey as we did.

The shitness of VAR footy. We all saw it coming. The tech is fine, the interpreters of the results though, real fucking dodgy.

Thank christ our new signings are stepping up and that was a fine strike by Jota. Bobby with a goal, which should boost his confidence.

I thought Fab had another pretty good game, and clearly it was no penalty.

Now we need those Toffee fucks to lose. Villa no game I notice? Or have the beeb made a mistake?

So they did! Missed that result. Leeds riding high. Villa still got a game in hand though.

This season could be real tight and go down to the wire.

I can recall united getting battered at Southampton 2 years in a row and having plenty of absolutely diabolical performances but somehow they turned losses into draws and draws into wins and it fucking ruined my teenage years the cunts, and even though Chelsea were never battered, I remember them away at Watford and Palace and were again, truly shocking but came away with the 3 points.

Point is, these nights tonight are exactly what gives us the aura of we'll just find a way to win somehow, and most of the time, just as united and Chelsea had when they were winning titles.

So yet again the refs association changing its tune

Earlier, we didn't check if it was a Fabinho foul, after get shit for that all of a sudden we did check but not a clear and obvious error. Well its either a fucking foul or not

Nothing could be more clearly define an obvious error than calling a foul when it isn't. Stupid, disingenuous cunts

You think about the villa game as well, Salah stonewall penalty not even reviewed.

Then two of villas goals, had they drawn the line from the elbows / arms they would have been offside.

Whether it was in the box or not wasn’t obvious either. The chimp in the VAR room took ages looking at the still image.

Ah that one, yeah don’t think Jota touched him... and Berge just crumbled. Yeah I think we got lucky with the Robbo handball. I can’t see how that’s not a pen yet the Eric Dier one from the start of the season was.. not that I’m complaining.

I think the rules regarding that have been ammended since the season began. Said it on MOTD last night

Have to give Shef Utd a bit of credit there , as klopp did,  they battled and played really well I thought and showed some good play. Thank fuck for Dio-Goal Jota!

I meant DIOGGOAL Jota

‘You know, GOAL, because he scores goals?’

We were good in second half I thought. Legs were rusty after CL as always. Hendo was very good, his come back will help us a lot to contrôle games.

Why did we only see the pen from the side that made it clear it was outside the box once it had already been given ?

Someone, either VAR or Sky trying to piss us off, I suspect.

The BBC match report going with the lucky to win angle, and still saying that Fab fouled Macburnie marginally inside the box!

Not in the box, and not a foul you cunts!

Yep it was a great tackle.

I look forward to us being given shit loads of pens this season and the MoTD crew agreeing with every one of them then.
