Anyone think Klopp may be planning this set up for home games?

Fabinho/Henderson          Tiago

                Keita/Ox

We don't need excessive defensive cover

More than likely it would be the 4231 he keeps trying.

If it's the 4-2-3-1 you'd expect Bobby to be in the 3 rather than the 1.

I reckon so. We were seriously looking at spending £50m on a striker at one point and you’d think he’d be more than competition at that price. So the plan to go with Bobby sitting a bit deeper with Werner ahead of him would have made sense. Not sure what the plan would be now though as if you put Bobby deeper you’re either looking at Mo more central or buying another forward.

During the game, the French commentators said he was definitely going to Liverpool.

The guy, Grégoire Margotton, is well respected here and a big Liverpool fan. The pundit was Bixente Lizarrazu who has still strong connection at Bayern obviously.  He did not deny it.

Weird how BM are giving an injury prone, want away midfielder so much playing time in their CL quest. Compare that to the cotton wool we wrapped lallana in after we won the PL.

We had already won the league and wanted someone to buy Lallana.

Bayern want to win the CL and have already sold Thiago.

He was kept on because he was part of the title winning squad. Ive no doubt Jurgen would have made clear to whoever was handling the contract situation that none of the squad in a similar position was allowed to leave at the end of June.

Feel sad losing Gini. A really good player and a much loved figure around the place by all accounts.

Same. Gini and Thiago would compliment each other well, and I don't think Thiago would be a like-for-like replacement at all.
