Based on no research and very much guesswork, am I right by assuming that - due to the Plymouth replay - Mané will be away for one league game less?

So that tepid performance against League Two's Plymouth Argyle alllll of a sudden makes sense...

Klopp has played a blinder here.

The replay makes no difference to how many league games he'll be missing for as it takes place midweek where no league fixtures were planned.

Don't understand why people want Senegal to lose. It's always said we have a squad full of losers who've won nothing. Why wouldn't we want one of our best players to taste success? Not only that, but if he wins the AFCON he'll come back very happy and confident.

Sure he could get injured and he's probably missing our biggest game of the season but Klopp should buy someone if he's so concerned and we already know he probably won't do that.

Because I'd rather us have a better chance of winning the games he would miss than Senegal winning that tournament. Simple really.

some players really do get affected by bad losses at international tournaments...thing is with the euros for example they go from that crushing disappointment to the beach and a 5 star hotel for a couple of weeks.

no such luxury for mane here - could be a problem for us, could be a hangover.

I still believe this. Sad for him and I think the benefit would have been far greater for us had they won AFCON. Now he looks shattered and it will probably take time for him to compose himself and find confidence again.

It's all an act for the cameras.  If he doesn't show he's distraught, he'd be a pariah back home.

He's probably skipped all the way to the airport where he'll hit the duty free and stick a comedy on the inflight entertainment.

He's already looking forward to Tuesday when he will bag a victory brace.

If he gets a wiggle on he'll make lasties at The Crown.

Everything's fine.
