Out in Arizona currently. Watched the Giants play the Cubs yesterday in Scottsdale, unfortunately the Giants were beaten.

 

Today I went to Padres V Royals in Peoria, it ended in a draw 8-8. The crowd didn't like that, even the accouncer at the end of the game said it was like kissing your sister...

 

$2 hotdogs, good beer to choose from even though it was $7.50 a pint oh and Scottsdale should win some award for most silicone enhanced tits per capita. Great weather has meant the girls are wearing next to nothing.

Braves/Cubs is on tomorrow, there's a game or two nearly every day. Immense, have to keep an eye on Baseball tonight for the two follow up games.

Watched the White Sox embarrass the Mariners the other day, I like seeing Seattle lose no matter what the sport.

Yeah, seen that, unfortunately, I'm working again tomorrow night, so will have to keep an eye on gameday for that and catch the highlights on the Braves site on Tuesday.

First hit of the season is a home run for Jorge Posada and the Yankees.

 

Second hit of the season is a home run for Curtis Granderson and the Yankees. Back to back home runs off Josh Beckett, followed by a single by Swisher.

Two down already, considering we're meant to be stronger on defence, I can't say I'm too pleased with 2-0 by the second.

I think Beckett will be a bit pissed. 7 pitch first inning, and so far in the second he's thrown 27 and given up 4 straight 2 out hits, including the 2 dingers of course.

Red Sox struggling so far. Yankees lead 5-1 going into the bottom of the 4th, includes a run courtesy of Brett Gardner stealing home, not something you see very often.

I thought it was going to get ugly at one point but we've recovered with that homer to tie up at 7-7. Worth staying up for.

Youk has gone 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's and 2 runs so far. He's one of my favourite players in MLB. Under rated and under used in previous years, but over the last couple, he's really come into his own and is starting to get the recognition he deserves.

Stronger bullpen in the end, the way most analysts were talking in the pre-season I expected us to have a weaker offense than we've displayed tonight. Good start to the season, I'm knackered now I've been up for 21 hours. Totally worth it and I'd do it again, always nice to beat the Yankees.

wanted to watch that game last night, but had to sit through an easter sunday dinner feast.

 

not all 162 games are that enjoyable to watch, but that sounds like a great season opener.

Good Start on opening day for the Redbirds so far as well Homers for Pujols and Rasmus a run for Ludwick giving us 3-0 over the Reds bottom of the 4th and Chris Carpenter definately showing no hit stuff so far!
