You should be successful. An LFC steward away in auxerre was telling us that they only sold 16,000 of the tickets. 4,000 will go to share holders and staff players etc. so there is 10,000 left for stubs. You should be ok getting a ticket.

When did they actually go on postal sale to non-ST stub holders? I was of the impression that it was only on Wednesday when the notice went up on the official site. Am I wrong?

Totally agree John The game was totally one dimensional - my sunday league team are more creative themselves! Lets just hope we can salvage something this season by winning one of the cups...I feel fucking ashamed to say hope, but thats all we;ve got to offer. sad.

We have an option to upgrade the forum. This has several advantages: 1) makes it easier to ban wankers from the forum 2) makes the forum better susceptible to expansion. Point two means that if the forum keeps growing the way it does now (it currently has 300 users, and this number is slowly but surely growing. You have all seen the page counter at the top of the page...), it will remain stable. When (if?) we hit 500 users and a significant number of posts, the forum will be slow as winter syrup. It has some disadvantages as well: 1) it will cause at least 2 hours, probably more like 12 - 24 hours of forum disruption 2) some users may experience their ac…

Is Hamann on his way?

Maybe it was because Diao is used to playing against Auxerre.Or maybe it is the financial aspect. Either way, Didi was great when we needed to play like that, and its difficult to imagine us without him, but Diao is much more attack-minded (though he gets back and defends well too), is younger, and IMO is the way forward for us.

Tickets have now gone on postal sale to holders of the 3 home stubs, but it says ALL CHEQUES MUST BE MADE PAYABLE TO THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE LIMITED and should be endorsed not to exceed the maximum value of the highest priced ticket i.e. £50, with the actual amount of the cheque left blank. How does one endorse a cheque not to exceed £50?

It is a bit ironic that they are singing it in a European Cup game (well any sort of european game at that) since they have won a grand total of ZERO European Cups in their history.

Funny that the same newspaper which clamoured for Demento to get knighted is now calling him "Sir Yob". Beckham should sue for loss of earnings (modelling obviously not football).
