Like Everton, they think they should be allowed to sign as many players as they want with impunity to establish themselves in the PL and compete meaningfully. It all breaks down when, despite all the signings, they only narrowly avoided relegation and are still in a relegation dogfight this season. Oh, and they used some of the money to get Jessie Lingard. I think they had a shit load of players on loan when they got promoted who went back to their clubs so they had to sign loads of new players.

At first, I thought they were doing the right thing; no flashy signings, but a few experienced pros who could maybe get them enough points.  Then they just kept signing more and more until they fucked everything up.

Burnley - 35 points 

Fulham - 28 points

Bournemouth - 34 points.

 

Luton & Forest are both on for < 30 points this season. They just need to shut the fuck up and concentrate on picking up points.

While preferable (and another points deduction), they been handed the deduction in, possibly, the best possible season for it.

 

Most other seasons, 25 points would really have them in deep shit, not 4 points outside the relegation zone and 8/11 points away from the bottom 2 sides.

I reckon they’re getting another 4 points deducted and it still won’t be enough to flush them. 
 

Of course if we win the title and maybe the europa league resulting in a treble it will be small fry compared to them staying up despite the whole world trying to send them down etc
