It sounds a bit like the West Ham/Sheffield United settlement.  That was £15m in 2009; I'd imagine each of the three clubs would want much more than that now.  It wouldn't be enough to end them, but it would presumably fuck their Profit and Sustainability for a few more years.

They’d get the Prem to agree to treat it as an exceptional item to be excluded from the FFP tests. Which may be the main point behind all this publicity campaign against the Prem - to put them on the back foot re 777 and any compo they have to pay.

Amazing what shite goes around in their heads

I don't know of one Liverpool fan who is desperate for the stadium to fail. Admittedly you want Everton to always be shit and buzz off their weird fans  but I don't know anyone who is desperate for such a massive project to fail in a city that barely gets any investment.

We've also redeveloped our own stadium and it is bigger and more famous. There's no insecurity or inferiority complex from any of us.

The only piss taking was over their 100 odd consultations and the fact that they went on about it non stop without building a thing for 6 years. Every time Liverpool won something or had a horrendous result they'd put out a stadium update.

No-one, apart from Evertonians, gives a sausage about their stadium.  They are irrelevant in footballing terms to the rest of the country, apart from supporters of those teams cheated out of a premiership place by them.

That's the bit they don't get.  Nobody has it in for them, they just like to believe it so it gives them something to cry about.  They need to fuck off.  They're the footballing equivalent of Gemma Collins.  She exists to make other people feel better about themselves, as her life's work seems to be about constantly announcing to the world how thick she is.

Everton fans do the same in a footballing sense.  Constantly whining just to make other fans feel better about themselves.

And of course, they're both fucking irritating.

Everton will just be playing everything out as long as possible to reach the next American election.

If Trump gets in, he stops all support to Ukraine and lifts sanctions on all Putin’s mates. The UK will only be too happy to go along to get the money laundering through London off and going again. Usmanov can then ride in to the rescue.

They haven't got that long. 777 have agreed to finance them till the end of the year (2023, not the season). The ownership issue is supposed to be resolved by then. So they'll either be out of uzmanovs grasp or they'll be bankrupt within a month.

When will they hear about their appeal?

I read on grand old team it could be May which is ridiculous given it could drop a team into the relegation places at the last minute if successful

PL have committed to within 3 months according to the BBC this morning. There was also some talk that if they have breached in 22-23 it will be heard within this season.
