You don't have to be a good singer to be a good vocalist.

I don't like technically good singers, per se - but Liam Gallagher's voice/vocals/whatever you want to call it are just too nasally and manc for my tastes.  Oasis songs sound better when Noel sings them.

Nah, it depends on the song. Liam's voice is perfect for most Oasis songs. Listen to him here, his voice touches the sky.

That's funny mate, but the reality is that they wouldn't even be in the same class.

Oasis would be out in the remedial sheds trying to work out what Peter and Jane's dog was going to do with the ball.

My mate sent me it & my first instinct was that The Beatles boy should've had a Slade t-shirt on.

Heard this earlier for the first time.

Very surprised Motley Crue didn’t sue Oasis when ‘Whatever’ came out!!

Yeah the piano bit at the start is similar to the violins.

This was a massive Instant Karma rip-off though. So fucking blatant. Boss little song though

I’d say it’s nicked off both of them as the chord progression in Motley Crues one was more closely followed (just listen to the ending of that song and compare it to the end of Whatever, it’s near on identical) just that Neil Innes put in a public claim for royalties so we know about that one.

One of The Rutles having a songwriting credit on possibly the best Oasis song is funny as fuck though.

Any excuse to revisit this absolute classic

“Do I have to spell it out?”

Didnt actually know there was a sequel film of sorts until the other day called “Can’t Buy Me Lunch”. Made my day that did
