Just so you know, the Sandon incident....

I agree with what Cath said. I think it was a stunt to trivialise the protests that the fans are making by making it look like a small group of idiotic thugs.

Of course they know that the fans aren't onside. That would be naive of them in the extreme to base their entire opinion on what Ian Ayre says. Of course Hicks and Gillett read things like internet message boards. They know that we aren't onside at all.

This was all a big stunt on their part and thanks to some some misguided Neanderthal idiots who prioritise using their brains extremely low on the list of things to do, we basically fell for it hook line and sinker.

Looks like Hicks wants to stay on board, get the ground built with DIC and then sell up for much more.

If he stays in partnership with DIC even as a silent partner it looks like we are just going to have to swallow it however bitter it will taste.

Great, a Texan + A-rab dream team. Bound to work.

I can't believe people think DIC will go for a joint ownership with Hicks.DIC is huge with investments and companies worldwide. They have seen the hatred towards Hicks in papers and on tv.Do you really think they would team up with him knowing if they did, that they themselves would probably start getting abuse also.

DIC were discussing with G&H about buying 15% stake a few months ago.

Well imo I cant see them getting involved unless they have total ownership or majority in the club.I really can not see them going for a par stake in us .Theres no way they would risk bad news coverage against them imo.

I hope you are right mate. But, I can certainly imagine them being a minority shareholder with a long term view to owning us in the whole.

Not condoning a physical confrontation or spitting at him or anything else, but what the fuck did he do at the Sandon?

You must be mentally impaired if you think you can go into LFC heartland as the son of T Hicks, given the current atmopsphere, and somehow think that will be a good thing.... Obviously our grief concerning the actions of our current owners have not yet been quite understood over there.....

Given it was a Saturday afternoon, with loads of lads drinking for hours before and after the game, I'd say I am surprised that a little singing and such is all that happened.... He's a lucky man in my opinion!!

It's as if the whole thing was staged for someone to react and make us all look like shit? Anyway, it just goes to prove the owners are not at all in touch with the current situation at Liverpool FC....

CUNTS! SELL! NOW!

Lucky man indeed! Or you could just say the Liverpool fans who were there behaved admirably. Run him out of the pub with chants only. Not a broken nose, not even a black eye.

Dear oh dear. Hatred begets hatred. The Count doesn't hate the Hicks clan - they are who they are and have never tried to hide that. They are not the true villain of the piece.

Evene with blueberries the Shredded Wheat lacked for something this morning.

The true villain is sat at the table dressed in finest Ben Sherman haute couture(sic) purchased directly from his family catelogue.

You've given me an image of Parry and Moore's flicking through the cataloge discussing the new Spring/Summer collection while mayhem continues around them....

Also, why batter Hicks' son? He's not done anything?

I agree, Baby Hicks’ shouldn’t be blamed for the crimes of his father. But he is the messenger. There was a need to provide him with a message to deliver. Maybe his dad can see the writing on the wall now?

And he wasn’t beat up or anything, He was told, not very politely I agree, he wasn’t welcome in the Sandon? So, Baby Hicks must have his post match beer somewhere else, big deal!
