Have the Norwegians got some form of systematic doping regime going on at the minute?

I'm not being racist or anything, but since when do us honkies run quicker than black people in the 400 and 800 metre events????

Kipchoge destroyed the field in the marathon, didnt even look out of breath at the finish! What a cunt the French runner was deliberately knocking over the row of water bottles so those close behind would struggle to get a bottle.

Really?

That’s proper cuntish if deliberate.

Much better games than I anticipated , and some great moments even in sports that I didn't totally understand.

Thought the BBC coverage was excellent in trying circumstances with them not in total control of the set up and the time difference bringing its own problems. Hazel Irvine and Gabby Logan are fantastic broadcasters and I can't think of a single person who didn't pull their weight , with even Jeanette Kwakye getting a bit better as the games continued and tbf even Graham Norton would struggle on occasions getting sense out of people with racing emotions after seeing five years work vindicated or shattered.

Brave of Japan to turn the closing ceremony over to a local youth club and give them a £30 budget.

Spot on Roger. I think Gabby is great and Hazel Irvine doesnt get the lead slots she deserves.

The most medals of any GB athlete and barely a household name. And probably just how he likes it

It is unbelievable what they've done but the amount of golds you can win riding a bike, whereas someone like a heptathlete can only get one. The numbers make them seem godly. Not to take away from the achievements either.

Winning one gold medal is hard enough given how competitive the track cycling is.

Winning gold in four consecutive Olympic games though, that is unreal.

Anyone else reckon they could have had a crack at the Modern Pentathlon?
