This heavy metal football is less AC/DC and more Kraftwerk.

Ffs. Short again in overtime and a setpiece. Are footballers retarded or just ours at the moment

If we're doing it repeatedly its probably not down to the players. Probably a coaching thing.

Its not all fine Klopp and the coaching side need to sort our final third play out; its shit. Its not because of fullbacks, its not because of centre backs its because of what we are doing and aren't doing in the final third.

Its actually quite a longstanding problem which our injury crisis has made worse.

Its all on Klopp and the coaching staff. We have to start looking like we might score when we have the ball in promising positions.

Utter, utter shite that.

Just looks like we're lacking a bit of confidence at the moment, understandable given the injuries we had. Was a must not lose game, we didn't lose. We'll be ok

No team wins the league by playing arguably your two best midfielders (or any) as centre half’s....Imagine in 1986 for example playing say McMahon and Whelan because Hansen, Lawrenson and Gillespie are all injured ....There’s no double happening and you could say the same for all the great Utd and Arsenal sides during the premiership era

They are physically in much better shape than our players. Why?

If City and Everton win their games in hand we are in 6th. place, but hey, everything is fine, right?

Only positive is at least we didn't lose our unbeaten record to these twats.

Quite how we ended up starting the season with 3 centrebacks, 2 of which are constantly injured is baffling.

We have looked awful since the first lockdown though

Fuck knows what has happened to the confidence of half of our team. They look shot.

All our centre backs got injured (already one short due to penny pinching) got to January top of the league and it became clear we wouldn't spend ..

Simple as that.

It's really difficult to assess at the moment (no crowd, no defence, and barely a midfield) but did Thiago slow us down too much?  His style is really casual, did that rub off on other players?  Jones had a chance to charge into space in the box from the right hand side with about 8 minutes to go and I think he got a call from Thiago, so he just knocked it back to him (and he knocked it across to someone else and so on).

Shit last kick set piece, again. Three times in the last four games.

We were poor but an absolute twat of a referee, you can't put pressure on the opposition when you can't go near them.

We need a CB, it takes away from our midfield, which takes away from our drive, which is why we are so slow.

FSG and their apologists can go and fuck themselves. We can throw the league away this year, so we can buy a player to maybe win the league next year. Fuck off.

People will talk about the attack, but we created nothing with Salah, Mane, Firmino, Shaqiri and Thiago on the pitch. The balance of the team is so off without defenders. It simply can't be a quality issue, it's an "we have to protect the defense" issue. An issue which likely won't be fixed in the market and Matip will keep being injured, so essentially, the season is over as far as winning anything of significance goes.

This was just a continuation of the West Brom performance with better players as the opposition.
