Miles Davis is an interesting one, I've got about 50 of his albums but wouldn't have selected him for this. His work was always very much collaborative & if we're including jazz stuff then my list would be completely different.

 

Also wondering whether Zappa & Beefheart should be included, they were left out of the group tournament & are both giants.

If these are lists of peoples top 10 then no.

Most are choosing many of the same artists (Bowie, Elton, Prince etc)- may need to look at 20 each to round out the field

Nah I'll keep it at 10, I reckon if loads have a go then we should get close. I didn't pick a few obvious ones on purpose myself. As host I'll fill it out based on record sales if we need the numbers. Eminem 17th highest grossing artist of all time ffs. He deserves to be in it but without Si on the forum I doubt he will get a pick.
