If Simon became an acting success and turned up on Norton, we could close the ' great talk show moments ' thread at that point.

If someone told me on Tuesday that he was appearing on it on the Friday night I reckon I will have shit myself to death with excitement by the Friday morning. He deserves it.

It would have to be at least a three-episode piece, with no other guests, just to get the highlights in. He may need to leave his musings on oriental minges out though.

The interview would start something like this:-

Graeme Norton: Welcome to one of Britain's best loved heart-throb actors...

Simon (interrupting): Just before we start...do you know the best way to get blood off a green-room's carpet?

Nooooo. Simon, Matthew Mconaughey, Dua Lipa and John Fury.
4 hour long episode with four 10 minute breaks for showers and refreshments.
