Don't see the Ming is getting so much stick. Fucking Johnson is the liability in the defence. Don't think Ming could do anything about the goals last night unlike the winner for them last season.

The first was driven hard, the third was a total switch off by the team, can't remember the second.

Reina was dire for his last two and half years and got nowhere near the stick Johnsongets never mind mingolet.

We've had Steve Clarke coach the defence and it still gave away stupid goals.

What is it with this myth amongst some Liverpool fans that Steve Clarke is the messiah of defensive coaches?

Since he left his name always pops up when we have a couple of dodgy games defensively, we were nothing special defensively with him here and when he was at West Brom they conceded goals for fun yet for some reason this weird Steve Clarke myth persists.

Maybe it is to do with his time at Chelsea where he worked with the best defenders money can buy? along with the defensively minded Mourinho?

He was caught out for the third goal. I don't think he had a terrible game, there was nothing he could do about the first two goals but he looked a little bit lost for the third goal. Strange positioning from him.

The second goal was a bit weird - haven't looked at the replay though - did it deflect in off Johnson?

But definitely the 3rd his positioning was fucked up.  Aguero might well have scored anyway, but it was made easier for him by Mig not covering his near post properly.

Liverpool goalie Simon Mignolet has dispelled the myth that all footballers and greedy and selfish after brilliantly making the dreams come true of one young Reds fan – by having dinner with him on his birthday.

While most Liverpool supporters love captain Steven Gerrard, goal getter Daniel Sturridge or new boy Mario Balotelli, young Jamie Martin loves goalie Mignolet.

And while he was just happy to have been given a Mignolet replica shirt for his birthday, his day was made when the Belgium glovesman decided to join the fan for dinner.
Jamie was eating out with his family in a restaurant on Merseyside when Mignolet spotted the shirt, and decided to pop in and dine with the lad. Great stuff.

‘Mignolet walked in and sat on the next table with Jamie,’ said uncle Kevin Wrigley to the Liverpool Echo.

‘He was starstruck, he couldn’t open his mouth. He will be telling all his friends at school – they probably won’t believe him!’

What a guy.
