I've seen Can play in a defensive three before, for Germany U21s, he was really impressive. Certainly something worth thinking about.

Totally agree. Skrtel has been faultless for years, and is in no way is to blame for anything despite him being virtually ever present since we became as leaky as an old tap back there.
