I'm completely fucking fed up of watching shite teams getting away with 'respectable' results against us. As lots have been saying someone is going to get bummed hard soon by us and I've deceided it's going to be Wigan on Wednesday. I've just put £50 on us scoring 5 at 12/1.* *I have to fucking work so that doubles my chances of being successful.

I'm old so I've seen loads of shit midfield players but this lads the worst. Cost £25m and all he does is pass the ball 5 yards to the right or left. If he broke into a sprint he'd fucking pass out.

I reckon there should be a “The Liverpool Way” Wikipedia page. And I reckon the MF should write it. It could start with “In the beginning there was the heaven and the earth and some dodgy hair”? Or “A long long time ago, in a basement far far away”, or maybe something funn? So the MF of the TLW should write this page and set it up with headings such as "Birth", "Early Years", "Political impact", "Famous members", "nutjob members", "Member members", etc........ Take it away you witty fuckers.... And I said "witty" fuckers. The dull pillocks who thing they are funny but are in fact shit can keep there snore-inducing comments to themselves. You know who y…

Will Andy Carroll stay injury free next season? 1 2

Straightforward question. Do you think Cazza will stay clear of injury, for the most part, next season? It is my principal worry going into the new campaign.

I don't think he will, although please I hope he does!!!!! I'm very surprised actually more than anything to see that the appointment was made with the minimum of fuss. No press conference. I'm also very surprised to see that they didn't turn around and state this was just for the summer. First Off. I don't think they wanted Kenny in the job, if they really wanted him he would have got it before now. But they had to act, they didn't want to act, but they had to. Things where looking bad, attendance's where down and whoever was at the ground was kicking off pretty much. Without going into what we've all read before, they clearly IMO have their man in mind he just w…

I'm really looking forward to this game, the season is closing, there's no summer football so games like these are the last few really big ties of the year. Naturally I want Ronaldo to get a hat trick but I'm worried the Mancs might do this, in gfact if I was betting on it I'd back them. What's the opinions then ??

This comes from the January Transfer Thread. http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/3350301-post419.html Just a bit of fun, hopefully it might prove to be interesting, but it might be boring as fuck depending on personal opinion... My premise is that no one will get more than 10 assists for us in the League this season. It can actually be anyone, not just Sahin. Up to Hank if he wants to accept the bet, but I'm keeping tabs anyway. For clarity and consistency, I will use the Opta definition of assist and all other stats used. For the record, I hope I lose this bet. I don't think anyone will get 10 assists unless 1 or more of the following happen: 1. …

Following the chain of events its looking more and more likely that there wont be a final resolution next week with an appeal highly likely. In this event it seems the sale will still go through but via administration and a 9 point deduction. So will we survive and how will the players react and will we have to make a decision on the manager sooner than we would normally have to. Basically we need 45 points from 31 games if we go into administration. Presumably the new perspective owners are aware of this possibility and would they still buy the club if we went into administration. So what do we reckon then

There's been a lot of finger-pointing among Liverpool's fan base this week as Willian became the latest high-profile target to say "thanks but no thanks" to LFC. The latest transfer saga involving the Reds came to a sadly all-too-predictable end as the Brazilian initially opted for Spurs before Chelsea swooped in to grab him. Regardless of where the Brazilian ends up, Brendan Rodgers has been left high and dry once again as the club continually fail to bolster his attacking options. It's getting ridiculous now -- who is in charge of Liverpool's transfer dealings, Arsene Wenger? Some fans blame the owners for not showing enough financial intent and allowing Spurs to ou…

Surprised we don't have a thread for this on here. Feel free to post pictures of Steffi Grafs legs or any other beauts currently on the female tour. Great game at the moment between Federer and Tsonga. Fed was two sets up, but it is now two sets all and Tsonga has broken Fed in the last set. 1-0.

Can someone explain to me why this was (and still is) considered one of the biggest shocks of all time? I know they'd been non leagues only a decade before, but for that final they finished 7th in the old first division. There were only 6 places between us, yet the way its often referred to as the FA Cups biggest shock you would think they were divisions below us. Surely a bigger "shock" would be something like 1995 - Everton (15th) beating the Mancs (2nd) I'm sure if I went through the FA cup history I could find better examples of where the winners were more than 6 places below their opponents.

Just been scarfing some sharp cheddars, lovely gorganzola's and a rather cheeky German Cambozola the last couple of days along with some Calabrese salami as well as a rather fatty but tasty hot cappicola ham. Today, I purchased a Bulgarian wine (Saint Ilia) and it is fantastic. I love St Stephan and Bulls Blood wines from Hungary but they can be hard to find over here but I will be heading back to the wine store for more of this Saint Ilia Bulgarian stuff. Man cannot live on Heineken alone.

Should we take it back and try this next season? Do we have the right players for it? Would it lessen the amount of players needed to be brought in and make better use of what we have? Would it allow Suarez (if here) and Sturridge to play together? Would it finally end the pursuit of those much needed flair inside forward players? Would it give Coutinho the freedom to flourish centrally behind 2 strikers? Would it be the end of needing Downing? So many things to consider! I was a big fan of the wing backs back in the 90s. Being a young indie rocker, I loved the sexy unknown foreign feel of it. Worth another try? *obligatory champ man line up* …

What do you consider the key factor in a title winning side ?? it's clearly not the squad as United's although strong in areas was nowhere near imo the best in the league last season. Is it purely down to Fergusons team talks and instilling that winning mentality ??. Surely if it's that there's only one other manager in the league right now that could match that and he's the King. With the squad we have on paper we should be challenging for the title, plain and simple, we have world class players who can turn a game, and a solid squad behind that. It just seems like people readily accept we will not win the league but I want to know fucking why, why can't we win it ?? I…
