They are possibly the best side to play in the Premier League. Their owners have purchased them one hell of a squad. The insane levels of investment are paying off on the pitch. They are also very well run - which is easier to do when everything is greased with money - which makes a difference. I can’t see anything other than a City win here.

We always tend to do well against them at Anfield. I remember a Manc in the Flattie a few years ago telling us how they had been spanked for years but they were gonna do us now. We won 3-0 with Carroll bagging a couple.

I can see Citeh losing their invincibility on Sunday, 2-1 to us

Nah, we're going to out work them and probably walk away with the three points.  Cue a wankathon over our average midfield runners before being brought back down to earth by Swansea and Huddersfield.

I'm genuinely more optimistic about this game than any team that will sit back against us, unfortunately that's most of the league.

4th in the league and unbeaten in our last 17 games. Miserable bugger.

Yea that was great, watching guile and creativity in midfield with speed up top.   We've decided to replace our midfield creativity with two average runners & we've already had a first hand look on two occasions how poor that's made our attack.

From one of the best in the league to struggling to create anything of note over night.   This self sabotage must actually be funny as fuck for rival fans.

Don't ya think the players and manager deserve a chance? We've hardly been shite since Coutinho has been out of the team and actually won those games. Salah missing, loads of rotation due to the busy period, Lallana coming back from injury and we've just signed one of the best CB's in the game. Self sabotage? We have lost one fucking player, get a grip lad.

Scored a late winner from a corner after creating next to nothing all game.  Great result but basically just covering over the cracks.  We played much better and didn't win numerous times this season.   Sooner or later that evens itself out and you get what you deserve from games.

If anyone on here said at the start of the season or at any point when we were flying, we'll sell Coutinho and let Lallana and Chamberlain fill the void, they'd have been laughed off here, called all sorts and not one cunt would think it was a good idea.  Except you of course cause you've a strange obsession with Lallana, no offence.    It's like Arsenal selling Ozil and Sanchez and replacing them with Iwobi and Wilshire, imagine we got that lucky!

Most of these midfielders have been here years, we know what they can do and none of them are fit to replace what Coutinho brought to the team.

We've sold a world class player when we were playing superb football and not replaced him, so yes it is self sabotage.   Entirely expected under these owners of course.

Yea?  Cause I sure as fuck don't remember you suggesting we sell Coutinho and play Lallana.   So why act like it's ok now.

Behave yourself, nobody is happy he is gone but he has. Let's see what happens before digging a grave. But then again, you will still be a miserable sod trying to fault no matter what happens. Endex.
