Is this how far we've fallen? Frightened of Norwich at anfield.

We should play whatever team suits us and still smash these no mark Delia cunts.

Its fucking ridiculous. We spend £6m on one of the best young centrebacks in world football and we're frightened Norwich might have a bit too much for him.

No one is frightented but theyr'e a decent footballing side who can pass the ball about, I don't for one minute think we shouldn't go all out attack at them, but it's not the right time to throw someone in who is unproven in the prem. maybe if we're a couple of goals up, put him on for a bit.

If he was to play and have a stinker can you imagine the moaning on here?

We could win 12-0 with seven of them coming of Coates' helmet and some people would moan.

I think bringing on defenders as subs is probably a worse way of bedding them in than starting them.

What if we're 2-0 up with ten minutes left, bring him on, and then concede? Surely that is more damaging?

Just start him, and if he can't deal with Grant cunting Holt then we know we've signed an absolute Paletta. Which we haven't. Because he's class.

Yeah, but he is South American. We've had quite a few of those lads on our books recently, and only Suarez has been any fucking good.

He's not very quick, so we wil have to see if he has the required brain and defensive nous to make up for it.

It's not a given that he will be a success.

Insua and Paletta were about four quid weren't they? Neither full Internationals presumably. Pellegrino was 47 so he doesn't count.

Being South American doesn't mean you might be a bit dodgy. We've just had a habit of buying some shit ones, unlike, for e.g, Villarreal. Who have specialised in buying some really good ones.

He obviously doesn't have to play against Norwich, but we really shouldn't be worried about whether he can cope. We have to find out at some point anyway.

He will be a success because he's really good.

Lucas

Mascherano

Aurelio

Maxi

I know you have unfounded blind hate for Lucas, but if you think the other three are not "any fucking good" then you are a cross eyed ear licker.

Skrtel is a full international for Slovakia. Doesn't stop him being parp!

What wrong has he done since January playing at CB for christ sake?

And he will surely start with Carragher against Norwich, as he was unlucky that he slipped for the goal against Mancs but bar that he was a fucking rock. Kenny won´t drop him anytime soon "mate".

He might when Agger is fit, because Agger is a better player

I'd like to see Bellamy and Henderson in the team for this one. Might even be a good game to rest Suarez and bring him off the bench if necessary. Not that I think it will necessarily be an easy game, but he's played a lot of football recently and it might be helpful to take him out of the limelight a bit with all the other shit that is going on around him.

bellamy hendo gerrard kuyt

I would maybe play Gerrard ahead of Henderson and Adam in the middle, with Bellamy on the left and Carroll up top. Suarez on the bench. He won't like it, but he can't play every game. We can always rest him a bit further on down the line though, so we could still go a regular 4-4-2 with Suarez and Carroll up top and one out of Adam and Henderson missing out.

Don't talk stupid moof - No-one's frightened of Norwich least of all at Anfield - It's just a case of doing what we haven't for the last 2 decades and when we say "take one game at a time"? Actually meaning it; Do you really think against a side with speedy attackers and high on confidence after playing well for a while now (combined with that bloody annoying enthusiasm all promoted sides seem to have in the first half of the season before it's sucked into the ether by Januaryish) is the very best place to give a new centreback his debut when he would become an immediate target and any errors no doubt magnified a hundredfold by a media eager to undermine us in particular at every available turn?

No, much better I think to keep a virtually unchanged team, play well, put away a couple of goals and then bring him on or was the lesson of changing the defence around against 'lower' teams as provided to us in recent seasons by the likes of Blackpool, Fulham and Middlesbrough forgotten so very easily? Anyway - that's what Kenny's job is - He'll know what to do - He's probably forgotten more about football in the last decade or so than any of us have ever known. We'll be fine on Saturday whatever happens - Kenny knows. He always did - It's just a shame it's taken him so long to get back where he always belonged in charge at Anfield - Nothing we can do about the lost years now - Who knows though, just what we could have done with him in charge years back? Oh well, all in the past now, more's the pity............

He's one of the brightest defensive prospects in world football. If we can't play him against Norwich, when can we play him?
