They're never going anywhere. Make your peace with it.

I'll console myself with the knowledge that they'll be in crisis again by Christmas, with the School of Science delusionists wanting Dyche out.

All on Brighton this, resting players and the rest of them on the beach. I would suggest that Brighton sink without trace next season due to losing their better players and the distraction of Europe. It would end up with Brighton being relegated and keeping Everton up again next season!

Unfortunately I think they'll be safe next year, Dyche will keep them just out of the relegation zone. However it won't be long before they're complaining about the quality of football on offer and how they should really be challenging for a top 4 spot.

Is Dyche even contracted to then? I thought it was just until the end of the season?

Hopefully them and City both start next season on -30.

I’m so annoyed at this I can’t even enjoy the fact Leeds and Leicester went down - two of the shittest fan bases in the country.

It's a poor consolation prize, but these will be living through this for season after season anyway, they ain't suddenly rising to the level their more delusional fans think they should be at.

Cunts, but the league should have had the balls to punish them for ffp breaches rather than "working with" them. Other teams in the Championship have been hammered for far less.

They should have been told to fuck off the moment they claimed that they lost £170m due to Covid when the rest of the teams in the league lost at most £55m.
